Had some chicken burgers and a bag of chips for lunch and both were delicious. Chips were freshly cooked, burger bun toasted nicely and you got a big piece of chicken !
Chips? Kebabs? Burgers? salad? Coffee? drinks? Ice cream? BEACH? CHECK. Definately one of Tathra's best locations is Beach Break. The one stop, good food shop to go to on your beach holiday. They don't make fast food, they make good food. It certainly will get busy here but the wait will be worth it, and it sure won't be much of a wait. No complaints from me. This is the best place to eat for me while in Tathra.
Arrived back in Tathra for the summer holidays and decided to just get fish and chips for an easy meal. Service was quick, the chips were excellently cooked and the calamari was cooked to perfection which rarely ever happens and were well crumbed. Definitely better than I remember from previous years and will be looking forward to going back there again!
Called the business number advertised on the front window after walking past and seeing a line out the door. Wanted to go home, call and order save waiting in line in the sun on a 33 plus degree day with a dog. Was advised that they are not taking phone orders and was quicker to come down and wait in line. Understanding it was a very busy day, phone orders save people waiting in sunlight, heat and a stuffy shop. I was prepared to wait a long time for the order to be ready, but before given the chance to question the man on the other end of the line he said 'thanks mate' and hung up. Very dissapointed in the customer service and common sense.
Good feed reasonable prices.Had fish cocktails, amazing batter and texture but lacking in taste.Chips are good, you have to add your own salt whick is good but I'm not used to it.Outside seating is good but severely lacking in shade! I 'like' it =4/5, I would return.
